I got woken up early this morning by a cute little girl and I wasn't going back to sleep. So with the extra time I decided to do the workout I was planning on doing Saturday. I was hoping to get 12 mile aerobic builder. I did it a little faster than planned and got 11 instead of 12.

2 mile warm-up w/ strides

11 mile builder splits:  5:26, 5:16, 5:18, 5:16, 5:15, 5:22, 5:21, 5:25, 5:21, 5:28, 5:23 for a total of 58:52 and an average of 5:21.

3 mile cool down

Good workout, but I was super fresh after slacking off for the last several days.

NICE! Rested or not, it's a solid workout and good prep for SGM. We were talking about ya the other morning and are expecting a fast performance from ya in a few weeks. Keep it up!

Thanks guys! As you guys know so many things can happen in a marathon so hopefully it goes well. My fitness levels are pretty good right now.

Jeff and Trevor you guys are both coming along very well too! Trevor your 20 miler at 6:00 minute pace this week was great. Jeff I saw that you're running SGM on your blog, Trevor are you running SGM as well or some other fall marathon?

Yeah I'm doing SG. I'm a little late and cramming for marathons doesn't always pan out well, but I should be good for a sub 2:30? maybe... (about 10 minutes behind ya). Looking forward to it.

Great run, Steve! You are ready. Nice work!
