| I gave it another go this morning because the calf was feeling a lot better last night than it has felt in the last week. The calf felt better on this mornings run than it did on Monday, but it still tightened up after just a mile so I'm going to stick with my earlier decision to not race on Saturday.

| Calf started hurting a little 4 miles into this run, but it didn't get any worse from mile 4 to the end of the run. Calf is still sore now from the run. Not sure what to do. AP: 6:43. |

| Calf started hurting just before 3 miles so I decided to turn around at 3 miles. By the end of the run the calf was hurting really bad. Spent the rest of the day limping around. AP: 6:57

| I'm in Wichita for work and decided to try cross training on the eliptical. I've only tried an eliptical once before and it was a long time ago. I was bad on it. I averaged 8:53 for 7 miles. Calf felt the same after the workout as it did before the workout, just a little sore.

| Did the eliptical again. The good thing is I got a lot better on it after a couple of miles. For much of the 2nd half of this workout I was averaging 5:30 pace. Overall I did 10 miles at a 6:09 average. Calf felt good.

| Hike Adams Canyon with my boys. I was super impressed with how well they both did without complaining. They are super good hikers for their age. It was a beautiful day!
